1947
Juan Iturri Landajo founds a company dedicated to marine supplies at the Port of Seville. Known at the time as “La Comercial de Cables”, it laid the groundwork for today’s ITURRI Group
1953
The Seville Shipyard is founded and becomes one of the company’s main customers.
1959
After the founder’s death, his son Juan José fully joins the company, steering a change of direction and gradually transforming it into the commercial and industrial group we are today.
1970
Hard work and clear goals lead to major expansion across Spain by the end of the 1970s.
1974
The Group’s first branch opens in Puertollano.
1980
Growth continues and, as pioneers in safety product approval, the 1980s bring a new challenge: in‑house manufacturing.
1984
PROTEC‑FIRE S.A., the company’s first firefighting vehicle factory, starts operations.
1985
TEXTULÁN S.A. is founded to manufacture garments.
1987
The company’s first laboratory opens.
1990
With Juan and Javier Iturri Franco joining, we pivot to internationalisation and integrated services, with a strong commitment to an innovation‑driven management model.
1992
TULANTEX begins operating in Tangier, Morocco, producing workwear.
1997
We celebrate our 50th anniversary and create the Quality Department.
2000
With the new century, we launch Safety Consultancy, the Contact Centre, IMS (ITURRI Maintenance Services), the workwear and PPE divisions, integrated services, and industrial fire‑protection solutions.
2002
TotalCare S.L. begins operations (rental of garments and protective equipment for firefighters).
2008
Adapting to the times, we specialise and organise into sectors: Industry, Defence & Security Forces, Emergency Services, and Healthcare.
2025
