SEMES Symposium

The 2nd symposium on the coordination of healthcare emergencies was held in March 2017 in the city of Toledo, this event was organised by SEMES (the Spanish Society for Emergency Medicine), and it was geared towards all Emergency Service professionals, including Managers/ Operators, Emergency Health Technicians, nurses and doctors.

The main public and private organisms from each geographical zone in Spain were present at the event: SEM, SUMMA, SAMUR, EPES, SAMU 061 Baleares, 061 Aragón, Sescan, SAMU Valencia, Esex Extremadura 112, 061 Cantabria, 061 Osakidetza.

Over two days prominent members of the public organisations for the management of emergencies gave presentations, allowing those in attendance to get a deeper understanding of the day-to-day life of the professional teams.

In addition, various companies from the sector took the opportunity to display some of their products, and Iturri presented their uniform, footwear, PPE, and Laevo exoskeleton solutions.
