Prosegur wins the “PREVER 2010” national award for occupational hazard prevention
The National Council of Industrial Relations and Labour Studies, part of the Ministry of Labour, has awarded Prosegur the “Prever 2010” National Award for Occupational Health and Safety for its commitment to improving the working conditions of its staff.
These awards, which have been handed out for the last twelve years, were created to honour the professionals, companies and organisations which stand out from the crowd for their outreach and implementation of occupational hazard prevention in Spain.
Among other specific measures taken by Prosegur, the award highlighted its Occupational Hazards Prevention Plan. This plan, launched in 1999, “confirms the effort to ensure working conditions of employees every day, in all countries where it is present”, the company affirms.
Prosegur is a private security company that provides global security services in Spain, as well as in markets such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, France, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Romania and Uruguay.
The ITURRI Group, supplier of PPE and footwear to Prosegur, is proud to work together with the security company to help it to achieve its objectives.
